Created as an introductory assignment for a Physical Computing class that required the use of a switch and a knob to control some form of signal. I originally started playing around with how to make the Circuit Playground Express play music through MakeCode, which lead to a friend asking if Despacito was possible, which eventually lead to this... mistake. Its fairly simple, just a potentiometer and a toggle switch connected to the CPX, which was coded to have just the hook from the song that plays on an infinite loop. The potentiometer controls the power fed to the speaker to adjust volume and also lights the LED ring built onto the CPX to display the volume level. Finally the whole thing was wrapped up in a low cost, low profile cardboard housing to keep all those bits and valuable code safe.
Initial layout of parts, first working concept of The Box
The travesty that is the Despacito Box's housing
Secondary use of the volume display, easy access flap for the CPX buttons
First photo taken after the Despacito Box's housing was finished
Dont take this too seriously, by the way :v
