Air quality can vary significantly in large congested cities such as New York City, due to the number of plants and trees and the amount of traffic in an area.
Our solution is to measure air quality using air quality, smoke and gas sensors. Remotely monitor and compare air quality measurements between areas of a city with or without trees and traffic congestion etc. In areas where we measure high levels of carbon-dioxide, carbon monoxide, high temperature, and lesser quantity of rainfall, it is an indication to plant more trees in the area as a solution. Our project will help to determine which areas of the city need more plants compared to the others to maintain the ecological balance.
