I do love poetry, playing with words and teaching German verse. It is following rules (you can bend, break or adapt); it is structured, creative, emotional, clear, dada, and so on. A giant playground. Like code. So I did my research and stumbled upon Dalek's poetry on demand. This is a work in progress.
Developing skills concerning:
- verse, metre and accentuation (speed, pitch, pause for effect)
- fun with languages, word play
- programming an educational and creative tool
- philosophical questions like "Can a computer's speech synthesizer convey poetry through sound variants?" "What is missing?"
Teacher testing the micro:bit. I am currently testing a HAL 9000 and Borg variation. This is far too much fun.
