In recent days, stress release is an important topic as the increase in pace of modern life, the ending expectation of others, and even our own expectations combine to increase stress levels. Stress is almost a part of our everyday life. There is one relief, though; plants make you feel better. Several experimental studies indicate that the presence of plants in nearby spaces significantly lower blood pressure, improve wellbeing, and raise job satisfaction. But growing plants requires attention. Depending on types of plants, maintaining optimal moisture level and sunlight level is crucial to the plants’ optimal growth. Failing to do so causes our beloved plants to dry and die. But, as busy, modern human beings, we might have difficulties tracking the optimal environment level. That’s where our project comes into play.
Our project utilizes two sensors to determine how optimal a plant's environment is. We will be gauging the moisture in the soil and access to sunlight to output a quantifiable rating of the environment. The output will be in the form of LEDs that light up, where each LED corresponds to each quality, and the color that lights up corresponds to the rating of the environment quality. Example: The LED for "Moisture" will light up red if the moisture for the environment is too dry, and light up green if the moisture is just rightNow, you can let go of one of your to-do list; we will track your plant’s environment level for you!
